Tuna Salad Recipe

A delightful and refreshing Tuna Salad combining flaked tuna, crisp celery, zesty red onion, and colorful bell pepper in a creamy dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (5 oz) high-quality tuna (packed in water or olive oil)
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 stalk celery (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 red onion (diced)
  • 1/2 bell pepper (diced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Drain and flake the tuna into a medium-sized bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard until smooth.
  3. Add the chopped celery, diced red onion, and bell pepper to the tuna and combine gently.
  4. Fold in the dressing mixture until everything is well-coated.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Optional ingredients include hard-boiled eggs, pickles, or fresh herbs.
