Sweet Spicy Mango Dressing

A luscious and harmonious blend of ripe mango sweetness and subtle chili heat, perfect for enhancing salads and dishes.

  • 1 large ripe mango, peeled and pitted
  • 1 small hot chili pepper (jalapeño or Fresno), finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the Ingredients: Toss chopped mango into a blender with fresh lime juice and honey. Blend until silky smooth.
  2. Emulsify the Dressing: With the blender running, slowly drizzle in olive oil to create an emulsified dressing.
  3. Add Spice: Transfer the mango puree to a bowl and stir in the chopped chili pepper.
  4. Season: Taste and add salt; adjust lime juice for tanginess as desired.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate until ready to serve, shaking or stirring before use.

Notes

For vegan, replace honey with agave syrup. Use ripe mango for best flavor. Taste as you blend to find the perfect balance.
