Spicy Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage & Shrimp Ramen

  • 1214 medium shrimp
  • 2 jalapeño cheddar sausages, sliced
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs, peeled and halved
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk or half & half
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chili oil (optional)
  • 1 ramen noodle block (or 2 for larger portions)

Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp with paprika, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and sear the shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Add sliced jalapeño cheddar sausages to the same skillet and sauté until browned. Remove from heat.
  4. In a large pot, melt butter and sauté minced garlic, diced onion, and red bell pepper until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce; bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in milk, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Add ramen noodles and cook until tender, about 3 minutes.
  8. Combine sautéed shrimp and sausage into the broth and mix well.
  9. Serve in bowls topped with soft-boiled egg, jalapeño slices, and green onions. Drizzle with chili oil if desired.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp and high-quality sausages for best flavor. Adjust seasoning as per preference before serving.
