Seafood Mac Colby Jack Cheese

A rich, creamy take on classic mac and cheese that features tender shrimp, crab meat, and crawfish tails enveloped in a velvety cheese sauce.

  • 1 pound macaroni noodles
  • 16 ounces Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes
  • 32 ounces Colby Jack cheese, shredded
  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 can lump crab meat, drained
  • 1 pound crawfish tails, thawed and rinsed
  • 3 teaspoons Kinder’s Seafood Blend
  • 3 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 3 teaspoons Accent flavor enhancer
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, gently heat the heavy whipping cream, cream of chicken soup, and cubed Velveeta cheese on low heat, stirring until melted and smooth.
  2. Blend in the Kinder’s Seafood Blend, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, Accent flavor enhancer, and ground black pepper until fully integrated.
  3. Cook macaroni noodles in boiling salted water until al dente, drain thoroughly, and place in a large baking dish.
  4. Sauté crawfish tails in melted butter for 2 to 3 minutes, then set aside.
  5. Warm lump crab meat in the skillet, seasoning lightly, then remove from heat.
  6. Season shrimp with seafood blend and sauté or air fry until opaque.
  7. Pour half of the cheese sauce over the macaroni, toss with some Colby Jack cheese until combined.
  8. Add sautéed shrimp, crawfish tails, and crab meat to the macaroni mixture.
  9. Top with remaining cheese sauce and sprinkle with more Colby Jack cheese and additional crawfish tails.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10 to 15 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.

Notes

Let dish sit after baking for richer flavor. Can substitute seafood based on preference.
