Popcorn Cake

A delightful treat that combines the light crunch of popcorn with the sweetness of marshmallows and colorful M&Ms, perfect for gatherings and family movie nights.

  • 3/4 cup salted butter
  • 20 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 14 cups unflavored popcorn (kernels removed)
  • 2 cups plain M&Ms
  • Optional: 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
  • Optional: 1/2 cup mini peanut butter cups
  • Optional: 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Begin by lightly spraying a 10-cup Bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and mini marshmallows. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth and melted (about 1-2 minutes).
  3. In a large bowl, add unflavored popcorn and pour the melted marshmallow mixture over it. Gently stir until evenly coated.
  4. Carefully fold in the M&Ms.
  5. Scoop the mixture into the prepared Bundt pan, pressing down lightly to compact it.
  6. Allow the cake to set at room temperature for about 2 hours, then invert onto a serving plate.
  7. Slice into 12 pieces and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, consider including extracts like vanilla or chocolate drizzle on top. Store in an airtight container to keep fresh.
