Poison Green Matcha Latte

A vibrant and creamy matcha latte, perfect for a morning pick-me-up or an afternoon indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 12 teaspoons sweetener (honey, sugar, or agave)
  • Black sugar for drizzle
  • Optional: whipped cream or whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Whisk together 2 teaspoons of matcha powder with a small amount of hot water until smooth.
  2. In a saucepan, gently heat 1 cup of milk until steaming and froth it.
  3. Stir in 1-2 teaspoons of chosen sweetener into the matcha mixture.
  4. Pour the steaming milk over the matcha and mix well.
  5. Drizzle black sugar on top and add whipped cream if desired.
  6. Serve hot or over ice as preferred.

Notes

Ensure to sift the matcha powder to eliminate clumps and achieve a smooth texture. Avoid boiling water as it can make the matcha bitter.
