Peppermint Oreo Truffles

Delightful peppermint-flavored truffles made with Oreo cookies and white chocolate, perfect for holiday gatherings.

  • 1 package Oreo cookies (15.35 oz)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup crushed candy canes

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos in a food processor until they turn into fine crumbs.
  2. In a large bowl, blend the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese and peppermint extract to form a sticky dough.
  3. Roll small portions of the mixture into bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Chill the truffles on a parchment-lined tray for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle in the melted white chocolate, letting excess chocolate drip off.
  7. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top of each truffle while the coating is still wet.
  8. Serve and enjoy once the chocolate sets.
