Loaf Pan Basque Cheesecake

  • 16 oz Cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line a 9×5 loaf pan with parchment paper.
  3. Microwave the cream cheese for about 15 seconds to soften.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add the granulated sugar and continue beating until fluffy.
  6. Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined.
  8. Pour the batter into the loaf pan, tapping down to release air bubbles.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the top is deep brown and slightly puffed.
  10. Allow to cool in the pan for around 2 hours.
  11. Slice and serve at room temperature or chill in the refrigerator.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps. Line your loaf pan properly for easy release.
