Homemade Sweet Pistachio Spread

A delightful homemade sweet pistachio spread that combines the rich, nutty flavor of pistachios with the sweetness of white chocolate, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

  • 1 cup unsalted shelled pistachios
  • ¾ cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1½ tablespoons oil (optional)
  • â…“ cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the shelled pistachios evenly on a baking sheet and roast them for about 6 minutes until they are warm and fragrant. Allow to cool.
  2. Add the roasted pistachios to a food processor and blend for 2–3 minutes until a coarse paste forms.
  3. Add the white chocolate chips, sugar, salt, and water to the paste and blend until smooth.
  4. If desired, drizzle in the oil while blending for a creamier texture.
  5. Transfer the spread to an airtight container and refrigerate to deepen flavors.

Notes

Use fresh nuts for the best flavor and feel free to customize the sweetness to your liking. Experiment with additional flavors like vanilla or almond extract.
