Holiday Wreath Crinkle Cookies

Festive and colorful cookies with a delightful raspberry jam center, perfect for holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Green gel food coloring
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for coating)
  • 1/4 cup raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the white cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and green gel food coloring. Mix until a soft, cohesive dough forms.
  3. Roll tablespoons of dough into 1-inch balls.
  4. Coat the balls generously in powdered sugar.
  5. Place coated balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Create a small indentation in the center of each ball using your thumb.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until puffed and set around the edges.
  8. Add a small dollop of raspberry jam into each warm cookie’s center.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of almond extract. Chill dough if too sticky.
