Garlic Butter Brazilian Steak

A mouthwatering dish featuring tender skirt steak enhanced by a lush, buttery garlic sauce, capturing the essence of Brazilian cuisine.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs skirt steak
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 tsp garlic, minced
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Trim the skirt steak to fit your skillet, pat it dry, and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a small amount of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it’s very hot.
  3. Add the seasoned skirt steak to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Transfer to a plate and let it rest.
  4. In a separate skillet, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and stir until golden brown.
  5. Slice the rested steak against the grain, drizzle warm garlic butter over it, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor, let the steak come to room temperature before cooking. Use a cast-iron skillet for better heat retention.
