A delightful fall treat featuring rich pumpkin flavor and creamy textures, perfect for family gatherings or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 15-ounce can pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (divided)
  • 1 1/2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups brewed coffee (cooled)
  • 2 packages dry ladyfingers (savoiardi)
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Coffee: Brew 2 cups of rich coffee and let it cool slightly. Sweeten with 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, whisking until fully dissolved.
  2. Pumpkin Cream Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, salt, and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Add mascarpone, cream cheese, and heavy cream, and beat until soft peaks form.
  3. Assemble the Dessert: Dip ladyfingers quickly in the cooled coffee and arrange them in a dish. Spread a layer of pumpkin cream over the ladyfingers. Repeat layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with the cream.
  4. Chill: Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or overnight, to meld flavors.
  5. Top and Serve: Before serving, top with whipped cream, dust with cocoa powder, and garnish as desired. Slice and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or ginger. Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth mixing.
