Easy Fudgy Oreo Brownie Recipe

A delightful treat combining fudgy brownie layers with crunchy, creamy Oreo pieces.

  • 1 1/2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 2 cups Oreos, crushed

Instructions

  1. Begin by melting the unsalted butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips together in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in short intervals, approximately 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each interval until smooth.
  2. Once cooled slightly, whisk together the melted chocolate, white sugar, and brown sugar until fully blended.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until the batter turns glossy.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then gradually fold these into the chocolate mixture.
  5. Stir in the crushed Oreos until evenly distributed.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the dish, smoothing the top, and optionally place whole Oreos on top.
  8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, checking for a gooey center.
  9. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before cutting into squares.
