Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the butter-sugar mixture until just combined.
  4. Fold in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
