Caramel Apple Trifle

A delightful dessert layered with fresh apples, rich caramel, fluffy whipped cream, and crunchy cookies, capturing the essence of autumn.

  • 4 cups fresh apples, sliced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 2 cups crumbled cookies
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Fresh apple slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the sliced apples at the bottom of a trifle dish.
  2. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce generously over the apples.
  3. Add a generous layer of whipped cream over the caramel.
  4. Sprinkle half of the crumbled cookies over the whipped cream.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients: apples, caramel, whipped cream, and crumbled cookies.
  6. Finish with a luscious layer of whipped cream on top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with fresh apple slices just before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, mix cinnamon into the whipped cream or substitute Greek yogurt for whipped cream for a lighter version.
